Based in the UK, Verity White is an award-winning singer with an exciting and powerful voice, who expresses a vast range of emotion in her music. She is also the most recent host of the MusicHourUK YouTube channel and curator of their #musichourloves series.
Verity’s music focuses on the expression of true experiences, creating a depth of soul not often seen in rock music. Her sound has been described as “Stevie Nicks turned up to 11, fronting Foo Fighters meets Royal Blood.”
Her melodic rock singles Too Much / Look Inside were out in February 2017 and are on the playlists of indie radio networks across the world. Too Much won the Akademia awarded for Alt-Rock in July 2017, being recognised as a clever and constantly evolving, vibrant melody.
Stripped Bare – an acoustic EP, working with piano and acoustic guitars, was out on June 16th, and her new rock single, I Don’t Care, is out August 4th.
Verity’s previously released EP – Parentheses was voted one of Koid9 Magazine’s best releases of 2016.
Verity is in the process of writing a full length rock album that will be out in the Autumn 2017. The album is being crowdfunded on KICKSTARTER and limited rewards are available until August 7th, including a free music download of the new single on backing and new unseen images of Verity.
In 2016, Verity joined the prog-rock band Pendragon as a backing vocalist, enjoyed a successful tour and continues to work with them today. She was also the vocalist for the soundtrack of the award-winning Robin of Sherwood reboot, Knights of the Apocalypse.
