Coma Row
New Wave/Post Punk band Coma Row has two new demos out that are quite striking. The songs are very electronica grounded, lots of synths with an energetic rhythm section. Both tracks have a definite 80s New Wave vibe that are reminiscent of New Order. “Criminals” features a fluid bassline that snakes through the somber vocals and expressive guitar flourishes. “Famous” delves in the topics of social anxiety and isolation while delivering a bright melody with dynamic percussive fills. In addition, the production is very good, nicely keeping the sound crisp and clean. If you like Joy Division, New Order or the Cure, you’re going to enjoy this band.
